AMD’s 32-core Ryzen Threadripper 2990X appears on 3DMARK

TUM APISAK, a reliable source of leaked benchmarking information, has found an AMD Ryzen Threadripper 2990X processors within the 3DMARK database, a 32-core 64-thread processor with a listed base speed of 3.0GHz and a boost speed of 3.8GHz. This leak lines up with previous rumours that AMD’s 2nd Gen Threadripper 24-core would be called the 2970X and that the 32-core model would be called the 2990X.
Previous rumours have suggested that AMD’s Threadripper 2990X would offer a base clock speed of 3.0GHz and a could be overclocked to up to 4.1GHz on all cores when combined with a capable motherboard and a high-end liquid cooling setup.
