Axiom Verge is currently free on the Epic Games Store

Back in 2015 Axiom Verge was nominated as “Best Independent Game” at The Game Awards, receiving overwhelmingly positive reviews upon its release. 
 
After February 21st, Thimbleweed Park will be available for free on the Epic Games Store, with the free promotional period for that game lasting until March 7th. 

Ironically, Axiom Verge’s Epic Games Store version briefly released in a buggy state due to the lack of a game file called “Steam.xnb”, a file which would cause the game to crash in areas where steam pipes were included within the game. This file has nothing to do with the game’s Steam version. This issue has now been addressed.
