Wrath: Aeon of Ruin will Release in 2019 with Voodoo 2 GPU Support

So how retro is Wrath? 3D Realms’ new shooter will be built using the original Quake engine, a relic of a bygone age that has been lovingly revived by technomancers to create a new shooter for PC, Mac, Linux, Xbox One, PS4 and Nintendo Switch. 

Wrath: Aeon of Ruin will not just be playable on modern hardware. The game’s Steam listing shows system requirements that go as far back as the Geforce 7950GT and the Pentium 4, but things will be possible with older hardware. Yes, 3D Realms has confirmed that Wrath will be playable on the 3DFX Voodoo 2, a graphics card that boasts a whopping 12MB of memory.

The game will be capped at 666FPS offer multiplayer modes using classic QuakeWorld netcode and support 4-player co-op through both LAN and online play.
