Watch Dogs: Legion will release this October

Ubisoft has announced that Watch Dogs: Legion will release on PC, Stadia, Xbox One and PlayStation 4 on October 29th, placing players into a dystopian future London.

While the game will focus on today’s gaming hardware at launch, Ubisoft has confirmed that the game will be “coming soon to next gen”, which means that gamers should expect Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5 versions of Watch Dogs: Legion in the future.

In Watch Dogs: Legion, players will be able to play as anyone in London. Players can recruit anyone from the cities population to join the cities resistance, giving players access to a large number of unique playstyles through the use of citizens with unique skills and traits. Players will be able to build up their resistance with whomever they choose, from former spies to gangsters and even geriatric ex-assassins. There’s no shortage of people in London, giving players a seemingly endless pool of hacking talent.

When a character dies in Watch Dogs Legion, they are dead, that’s it, they’re gone. Players will then need to select a new resistance member to play and then continue onwards. Each character type will have their own specialisations, delivering players a wide range of potential playstyles.

Below is Ubisoft’s latest trailer/gameplay overview for Watch Dogs: Legion.
