Cyberpunk 2077 merges with World of Warcraft in this Fan-made trailer

Leaning heavily on the body modifications of the Mechagnomes and a lot of World of Warcraft’s Mechagon assets, Duren has managed to recreate CD Projekt Red’s latest game with Orc, Goblins, Worgen and Elves. The project is so expertly crafted, that it would be believable as a far-future World of Warcraft sequel, and it is genuinely breathtaking how well the project matches CD Projekt Red’s Cyberpunk 2077 trailer. 

Duren has no shortage of great WoW Machinima projects, with recreations of trailers for Mad Max and Jurrasic World as well as a lengthy Machinima series called “The Legion“. 

This World of Cyberpunk trailer looks better than many of Blizzard’s own trailers, showcasing incredible visuals despite their use of World of Warcraft’s cartoonish and sometimes dated assets. We have embedded Duren’s trailer recreation below for your viewing pleasure.
