More power and lower thermals – MSI’s RTX 4090 SUPRIM FUSION is a MONSTER!
Massive 4.5-slot MSI GeForce RTX 4090 SUPRIM FUSION GPU Spotted
MSI have created a monster! Ahead of Computex 2024, the company’s new GeForce RTX 4090 SUPRIM Fusion has been revealed through all-round PC. This new GPU boasts a colossal 4.5-slot heatsink that houses an all-in-one liquid cooling setup.
This triple-fan RTX 4090 graphics card reportedly offers users a 15% performance increase when compared to traditional air-cooled GPUs. The integrated nature of this GPU’s liquid cooler means that it requires no external radiator or pumps, making this GPU easier to fit than other liquid cooled graphics cards.
It features a custom PCB, hybrid liquid cooling system and air-cooled cover with fan that delivers a 15% performance increase compared to traditional air cooling technology. With 90% shorter tubes compared to traditional liquid cooling designs, it gains 10% in performance, while its all-in-one sealed chassis eliminates the need for refilling or changing coolant and ongoing maintenance.
Thanks to its large cooling solution, this new graphics card could prove to be MSI’s fastest RTX 4090 graphics card to date. It could potentially be the fastest RTX 4090 graphics card out of the box. That said, the full specifications of this graphics card remains unknown. As such, we cannot discuss its clock speeds.
The image below showcases the liquid cooling radiator that is concealed within the SUPRIM Fusion’s heatsink shroud. This graphics card effectively uses an all-in-one liquid cooler design that’s housed within a graphics card’s heatsink shroud. This is why this GPU is 4.5 PCIe slots thick, and why it boasts so much cooling potential.
We expect to see more of this new graphics card from MSI at Computex 2024. Furthermore, we expect to see a range of new 800-series motherboards for both AMD and Intel platforms.
