ASUS unleashes their first Copilot+ ExpertBook PCs for work
ASUS showcases their new Lunar Lake-powered ExpertBook P5 at IFA 2024
Love it or hate it, AI is here, and it’s coming to the world of work. At IFA 2024, ASUS revealed a new lineup of Intel Lunar Lake-powered ExpertBook systems, the most impressive of which is their ExpertBook P5.
The whole point of the Expertbook lineup is to deliver robust performance. They have a durable aluminium chassis, making them ready for workspace and travel-related abuse, and they have the performance needed to get the job done. With Intel’s new Core Ultra Series 2 (Lunar Lake) CPUs, ASUS’ new Experbook line promises users more performance, a longer battery life, and the addition of up to 47 NPU TOPS of AI performance.
At IFA, ASUS showed off their 14-inch Experbook P5 (P5405) system. It features a 2560×1600 16:10 screen, Intel’s new Ultra 7 258V CPU, and 32GB of LPDDR5X memory. Additionally, this notebook also features 1TB PCIe 4.0 M.2 SSD.
The new ExpertBook P5 series uses recycled aluminium alloy and recycled steel to help businesses meet their sustainability goals. In 2025, ASUS aims to expand its ExpertBook lineup to new form factors, which include desktops and all-in-ones.
The ExpertBook series also comes with ASUS’ new AI ExpertMeet tools. These aim to deliver an AI-enhanced working experience. The tools included are AI transcript, AI translation, AI subtitles, assisted meeting summaries, AI camera, AI noise cancelling, and business watermarks. Furthermore, the ExpertBook P5 comes with AI-powered Deepfake detection through McAfee Deepfake Detector. A free 1-year license for this software comes with this notebook in the US, UK, and Australia.
