“Noctua Edition” PSU launching this year – Noctua confirms

Seasonic’s Prime TX-1600W power supply is launching this year, Noctua confirms

Noctua has officially confirmed that their upcoming Prime TX-1600 Noctua Edition PSU from Seasonic will launch in Q4 2024. This will be Noctua’s first branded power supply, and it promises to be exceptionally quiet.

At Computex 2024, Seasonic, thanks to its collaboration with Noctua, boasted an 8-10 dB(A) reduction in noise levels. This power supply features Noctua’s NF-A12x25 fan and a “custom-designed, highly optimised fan grill.” Under standard conditions, this PSU operates fanlessly at up to 50% loads, making it silent under most operating conditions. Under higher loads, this 1600W PSU is much quieter than Seasonic’s standard prime TX-1600 model.

This Special Edition power supply is ATX 3.1 and PCIe 5.1 compliant and is 80+ Titanium and Cybnetics ETA Titanium certified. This gives this PSU 94% efficiency levels at 50% loads.

To match the unit’s Noctua styling, this power supply ships with “Noctua Themed cabling” to tie this special edition PSU in with other Noctua components. Remember, this is not Noctua’s first “Noctua Edition” product. ASUS has already created two generations of Noctua Edition GPUs, including an RTX 4080 SUPER Noctua Edition.
