ASUS plans to unveil a “new ROG Graphics card” on August 19th

ASUS is planning to reveal “Something BIG” at Gamescom 2025

ASUS has confirmed that it plans to unveil a new graphics card at Gamescom 2025. The graphics card will be revealed on August 19th, and all we know is that it will be an RTX 50 series graphics card and a ROG-branded graphics card.

This year marks ASUS’ 30th year in the graphics card business, and to celebrate, ASUS plans to give away RTX 50 series graphics cards at Gamescom. Below, ASUS has confirmed that its new GPU will be a “ROG” branded GPU. Currently, ASUS does not produce any ROG-branded AMD RDNA 4 graphics cards. Additionally, ASUS has confirmed that its Gamescom prize draw will include a “coveted ASUS GeForce RTX 50 series graphics card.”

Currently, it is unknown what this new ROG graphics card will be. Will it be a custom ROG Astral RTX 5080 or RTX 5090 GPU? Will ASUS release Matrix series RTX 50 graphics cards? Is this a simple “30th Anniversary” Edition GPU, or something new?
