Noctua teases its Chromax Black NH-D15 G2 CPU cooler

Noctua is almost ready to launch its Chromax Black NH-D15 G2 CPU cooler

Noctua has begun teasing its Chromax Black NH-D15 G2 CPU cooler, a new all-black variant of the company’s flagship CPU cooler, the NH-D15 G2. This CPU cooler is listed on Noctua’s official product roadmap and is scheduled for release in Q4 2025. That means that Noctua doesn’t have long to release this heatsink if they want to launch it “on time”.

Noctua’s new NH-D15 version will also launch alongside new NF-A14x25 G2 fans. These fans will also be Chromax Black and be available in both standard and R-series variants.

Aside from their colour change from beige and brown to all-black, Noctua’s Chromax Black products are almost identical to their standard counterparts. They deliver the same levels of cooling performance, but better meet the aesthetic preferences of many PC builders. While Noctua’s standard colour scheme is iconic, it isn’t to everyone’s taste.

Pricing-wise, we expect Noctua’s new NH-D15 G2 cooler to launch with a similar price to the company’s existing (standard) counterpart. The new cooler will likely carry a small price premium over its standard counterpart. That said, the standard NH-D15 G2 already carries a high price tag, costing £127.99 at Amazon UK.
