Black is Back! Noctua launches its NH-D15 G2 Chromax Black CPU cooler

Noctua’s flagship NH-D15 G2 CPU cooler is now available in Chromax Black!

It’s official: Noctua’s flagship CPU cooler, the NH-D15 G2, is now available in Chromax Black, offering high cooling performance and a stealthy black aesthetic. Alongside this cooler, Noctua has also released new Chromax Black versions of its NF-A14x25 G2 fans, which are available with square and round frame options.

Unlike the standard NH-D15 G2, the new Chromax Black version is not available with LBC (low base convexity) and HBC (high base convexity) versions. Noctua has found that its “standard” base convexity versions of the NH-D15 G2 deliver optimal results on AMD’s AM5 CPU socket and Intel’s LGA-1851 CPU socket. As such, HBC and LBC versions are not being released due to their lack of usefulness.

Pricing and availability

Noctua’s new Chromax Black NH-D15 G2 CPU cooler is now available in the UK for £139.90. This is less than £15 more than the cooler’s standard version. This cooler supports all modern mainstream CPU sockets and ships with Noctua’s NT-H2 thermal paste.

Noctua’s new NF-A14x25 G2 Chromax Black fans are available in single-fan and dual-fan packs. Note that the dual-fan packs ship with fans with slightly offset speeds to enable lower noise levels by eliminating acoustic interactions.

Noctua’s new Chromax Black CPU coolers and fans are now available through Amazon at the following prices.
