Big Beautiful Case – Cooler Master unveils its COSMOS ALPHA

Cooler Master promises next-level modularity with its newest COSMOS PC case

Cooler Master has just unveiled its new COSMOS ALPHA PC case, and it is a behemoth. This case builds upon Cooler Master’s “Free From 2.0” philosophy, promising users a high level of modularity and customisability.

We saw a prototype of this huge PC case at Computex 2025. Based on the video below, Cooler Master has built this new chassis with airflow in mind. The front of the case has two pre-installed 200mm fans. Furthermore, the case can support up to a 360mm x 360mm liquid cooling radiator behind its motherboard tray in certain configurations.

The legendary COSMOS series, once hailed as the ultimate expression of PC case modularity, evolves into the “halo” platform for enthusiasts and modders. With its iconic design language and enhanced modular internals, COSMOS is engineered for boundary-pushers who want limitless control over layout, cooling, and customization.

Brand new COSMOS will serve as the aspirational apex of what FreeForm 2.0 stands for — freedom, scale, and personalization without compromise, making it an ALPHA case for all ALPHA builders

One cool feature of the COSMOS ALPHA is its movable motherboard tray. Users can decide how much space is in front of or behind their motherboard. This allows liquid cooling components (or other large accessories) to be hidden behind your motherboard.

Cooler Master has also built its new COSMOS PC case with large graphics cards in mind. GPUs up to 400mm long are supported, and a large full-length GPU support is integrated into the chassis to prevent GPU sag.

EATX/EEB support for workstation-grade hardware

If you want a case that can fit the largest PC components, the new COSMOS will suit your needs. This new chassis supports EATX/EEB motherboards and is suitable for multi-GPU systems. This makes the new COSMOS ideal for large AI workstations and rendering PCs.

With ample airflow paths, this chassis is ideal for high-power systems that require robust cooling. It even supports longer-than-standard PSUs that can power such insanity-tier hardware configurations.

We expect Cooler Master to launch their new COSMOS ALPHA PC case in early 2026. We expect to see this case in person at CES 2026 next month. During this time, we expect to learn about its pricing and availability.
