Pure AM5 – Sapphire unveils its PURE X870A WIFI 7 motherboard

Sapphire is taking its AM5 motherboards to the next level with its PURE X870A

Sapphire has just officially unveiled its new PURE X870A WIFI 7 motherboard, the company’s first high-end AM5 motherboard. The company has officially unveiled this new “Frosty-White” motherboard on its website, with a full specifications breakdown.

Earlier this year, we reviewed Sapphire’s B850A Nitro+, which sported a Black, Silver, and Grey colour scheme. With this new “PURE” model, Sapphire has made their motherboard white with grey and black accents. The PURE X870A also features AMD’s higher-end X870 chipset.

With this motherboard, Sapphire gives users a full PCIe 5.0 x16 slot, a single PCIe 5.0 M.2 slot, and two additional PCIe 4.0 M.2 slots. It also features WIFI 7, Bluetooth 5.4, and USB4 (40 Gbps) support. With four DIMM slots, this motherboard supports up to 256GB of DDR5 memory and speeds up to DDR5-8400+.

This motherboard is designed for high-end AMD AM5 systems, offering ample connectivity to support their goals.

This motherboard features a 16+2+1 power-phase design and two 8-pin CPU power connectors. That’s more than enough to power any Ryzen 9-series CPU, including the 16-core Ryzen 9 9950X and 9950X3D.
