Capcom delivers free “Leon Must Die Forever” mode to Resident Evil Requiem

Resident Evil Requiem players now have a free game mode to enjoy

Capcom has officially released a free DLC mode for Resident Evil Requiem called “Leon Must Die Forever”. This is a new minigame that unlocks after players finish Resident Evil Requiem’s campaign, acting as an “extreme high difficulty mode” for “confident players”.

Leon Must Die Forever is a challenge mode where players must clear numerous stages as Leon. Players will unlock unique “enhancer abilities” as they progress, making them stronger. This is a fast-paced action experience that is unlike Resident Evil’s campaign. This mode is designed to be highly replayable, with players being tasked with making it to the end alive and defeating the final boss within a time limit.

Leon Must Die Forever is available now as a free update to Resident Evil Requiem!

Unlocked by completing the story, this additional minigame mode challenges you to clear numerous stages as Leon while unlocking exclusive enhancer abilities. The fast-paced action is distinct from the main story mode, and is packed with replay value. Can you make it to the end alive and defeat the boss within the time limit?

Multiple difficulty levels are available, including an extreme high-difficulty mode for only the most confident players. True to the title, you’ll “”die forever””…

Alongside Leon Must Die mode, Resident Evil Requiem has been updated on PC to support the DualSense controllers. This enables adaptive triggers, haptic feedback, and motion sensor support on PC. Until now, these features were exclusive to Requiem’s PS5 version.

Capcom has also confirmed that it plans to release more updates for Resident Evil Requiem later this year. Capcom has already confirmed that Resident Evil Requiem is getting a Story Expansion DLC that will “delve deeper into the world of Requiem”. This update will likely launch later this year.
