Nvidia RTX 50 SUPER series targets “CES 2027” launch – report claims
Nvidia’s RTX 50 SUPER series to launch two years after their original versions – Report claims
A new report from Benchlife claims that Nvidia’s RTX 50 SUPER series graphics cards will launch at CES 2027. This is two years after the release of Nvidia’s original RTX 50 series GPUs.
Nvidia’s refreshed RTX 50 series lineup will include four GPU models: the 12GB RTX 5060 SUPER, the 18GB RTX 5070 SUPER, the 24GB RTX 5070 Ti SUPER, and the 24GB RTX 5080 SUPER. All GPU models will use 3GB GDDR7 chips. As a result, all of these GPU models will have 50% more VRAM than their existing counterparts.
Benchlife has also claimed that Nvidia’s RTX 50 SUPER series specifications have not changed since November 2026. That said, Nvidia’s RTX 5060 SUPER appears to be new to Nvidia’s updated GPU lineup.
However, in our understanding, the GeForce RTX 50 Super series graphics cards with 3GB GDDR7 memory chips will be released as early as the beginning of 2027, which is CES 2027.

A CES 2027 launch would be late for an Nvidia RTX SUPER series GPU launch. SUPER series GPUs tend to launch about a year after their original counterparts, serving as mid-generation refreshes. If today’s rumours are true, Nvidia will release the RTX 50 SUPER series GPUs much later than usual. This makes us wonder when Nvidia’s next-generation RTX 60 series will arrive. Does this mean the RTX 60 series will arrive in early to mid 2028?
