Nvidia RTX 50 SUPER series leak, including 12GB RTX 5060
Nvidia RTX 50 SUPER GPU Specifications Leak – Q4 2026 or Q1 2027 launch planned
Today, we have a fresh specifications leak for Nvidia’s RTX 50 SUPER series. This leak reveals TDPs, memory specifications, and CUDA core counts for many of Nvidia’s upcoming GPUs, and estimated performance gains for the series.
Most of these specifications are the same as prior leaks for Nvidia’s upgraded GPU lineup. All models replace 2GB GDDR7 chips with 3GB chips, giving each model a 50% increase in memory capacity over its predecessor. This is a big deal for Nvidia’s lower-end GPU models, which could be severely memory-limited in some games.
While some RTX 50 SUPER GPUs feature the same CUDA core counts as their existing non-SUPER models, this lack of a CUDA core count increase is countered by a TDP increase. This means that Nvidia is using more GPU power to sustain higher clock speeds, boosting performance. Nvidia’s RTX 5080 SUPER also uses faster GDDR7 memory to deliver higher performance levels.
RTX 5060 12GB, or RTX 5060 SUPER?
Nvidia is reportedly working on an RTX 5060 12GB model. Currently, Nvidia appears unsure whether it plans to brand the GPU as a “SUPER” series graphics card. This could suggest that Nvidia isn’t planning to release this GPU model with a higher TDP, giving it similar or identical levels of compute performance to its existing 8GB counterpart. Perhaps Nvidia wants to preserve the status of its RTX 5060 Ti 8GB GPU, as a higher TDP 12GB RTX 5060 would likely be a superior product in many scenarios.

RTX 50 SUPER Specifications Leak
Based on the leaked specifications below, Nvidia’s RTX 5070 SUPER is the only GPU in their entire SUPER series GPU lineup that features additional CUDA cores. This makes increased GDDR7 memory capacities Nvidia’s primary gimmick for the RTX 50 SUPER series. Otherwise, Nvidia’s RTX 50 SUPER series GPUs are just RTX 50 series GPUs with a light overclock.

Nvidia is reportedly targeting a Q4 2026 or a Q1 2027 launch for its new RTX 50 series graphics cards. This suggests that Nvidia has no plans to release next-generation RTX 60 series GPUs anytime soon.
