Silent Hill Townfall is coming to PC and consoles on September 24th, and Konami has just unveiled the game’s PC system requirements on Steam. The game is a new self-contained survival horror game set within an isolated Scottish island. Players will control Simon Ordell, who has been called back to the island to “put things right”.

Townfall is a full-length standalone horror experience, which means that the game will be suitable for Silent Hill newcomers and series veterans alike. Simon must explore and survive the island with limited resources, and discover what happened in St. Amelia.

PC System Requirements

Strangely, both Silent Hill Townfall’s minimum and recommended system requirements target 30 FPS gameplay. As such, gamers are expected to have higher-end hardware to target higher 60 FPS framerates. The game will support DLSS, FSR, and XeSS upscaling on PC.

This game’s minimum supported CPUs are AMD’s Ryzen 5 3600 and Intel’s i7-8700K. The game’s minimum GPUs are Nvidia’s RTX 2060 SUPER and AMD’s Radeon RX 6600. Note that both of these GPUs are 8GB graphics cards that are DirectX 12 Ultimate compliant. This hardware can target 1080p low settings at 30 FPS.

This game’s recommended CPUs are AMD’s 8-core Ryzen 7 5700X and Intel’s 8-core i7 9700K. The game’s recommended GPUs are Nvidia’s GeForce RTX 3080 and AMD’s Radeon RX 7800 XT. These GPUs can target 4K 30 FPS with DLSS/FSR/XeSS set to Balanced mode. 32GB of RAM is also recommended.
