Panzer Dragoon Zwei: Remake’s PC demo has been greatly improved

Panzer Dragoon Zwei: Remake’s PC demo has been overhauled based on fan feedback

Forever Entertainment has released an updated version of its Panzer Dragoon Zwei Remake demo, delivering major improvements based on fan feedback. The new demo includes improved gameplay, graphics, visuals/animations, and audio enhancements.

This new demo should better reflect the quality of the full remake, which is listed as “coming soon” on Steam. The remake’s developers say that they will “continue reacting to your suggestions as development progresses. Sadly, no release date or release timeframe for the full remake has been provided.

Gamers should be able to enjoy improved movement, aiming, and level pathing. Enemy movement, behaviour, and AI have also been enhanced. Based on the list of improvements below, today’s demo for Zwei will look and play better than the original demo.

Dear community, Since the previous demo, we have carefully reviewed your feedback and introduced a range of gameplay, visual, animation, and audio improvements. Your comments have helped us identify what needed more attention, and we will continue reacting to your suggestions as development progresses.

Play the updated demo, experience the changes for yourself, and let us know what you think. Every piece of feedback helps us improve Panzer Dragoon Zwei: Remake.

Thank you for playing and supporting the game. We look forward to hearing more from you!

Change list:

  • Improved player movement, aiming visibility, and level paths

  • Refined enemy movement, behavior, attack timing, and accuracy

  • Updated character, dragon, enemy, and environmental models and animations

  • Improved the boss fight, including its arena, behavior, animations, effects, and destruction sequence

  • Added and reworked visual effects for projectiles, damage, explosions, destructible objects, and Berserk activation

  • Improved the behavior and destruction effects of battleships, turrets, gates, and other enemy units

  • Added new sound effects for enemies, weapons, and destructible elements

So far, feedback for the new demo is positive. Gamers report that the game now feels “more alive” and that many visuals now more closely resemble the original game. With more improvements being planned ahead of the game’s full launch, I wonder if this will be the last demo update that this game receives.
