AMD fixes Starfield and Apex Legends crashes with its newest GPU drivers
AMD’s newest GPU drivers are optimised for The Blood of the Dawnwalker and Onimusha: Way of the Sword
AMD has released its AMD Software 26.9.1 GPU driver for Windows, delivering new game-specific optimisations for The Blood of the Dawnwalker and Onimusha: Way of the Sword. Additionally, this driver also fixes crashing issues in Apex Legends and Starfield. These crashes were exclusive to AMD RX 9000 series GPUs.
With this driver release, AMD also has a warning for RX 9050 4GB users. For Cyberpunk 2077 (which recommends a minimum of 6GB of VRAM), users of this GPU should set intensive graphical settings to “low or off”. If that’s not an admission that 4GB of memory isn’t enough, I don’t know what is.
