The Wolf Among Us Remastered is launching big Platform-Specific discounts
The Wolf Among Us Remastered is coming to PC and consoles on October 29th
The Wolf Among Us Remastered is launching on October 29th, upgrading the Telltale classic with greatly improved visuals, playable “deleted scenes” content, and a new “Noir mode”. Until November 12th, the game will be discounted on most platforms, with owners of the 2013 original getting the biggest discounts.
The new remaster aims to generate interest in The Wolf Among Us ahead of next year’s sequel. It also gives series veterans and newcomers a greatly improved version of the original to play/replay. At launch, the remaster will be available for $24.99, though this price does not include platform-exclusive discounts. Note that owners discounts will only be available to gamers who own The Wolf Among Us Digitally.
On PC and Xbox, new players will get a 20% discount while owners of the 2013 original will get a larger 50% discount. On PlayStation, gamers get a different deal: the newcomers’ 20% discount applies only to PlayStation Plus Subscribers. Similarly, the 50% discount for original owners applies only to PlayStation Plus Subscribers, while non-subscribers get a smaller 30% discount. Why are PlayStation users getting more limited discounts? Who knows…
