ASUS’ ultra-fast ROG OLED ACE pro gaming monitors are now available in the UK

Pre-orders open for ASUS’ fastest OLED gaming monitors

ASUS is aiming for ESports dominance with its new ROG OLED ACE monitor lineup, featuring ultra-high refresh rates up to 720Hz and the image quality and motion clarity of OLED screens. The ROG Swift OLED PG259QWS Ace and ROG Strix OLED XG259QWPG Ace are designed to be the ultimate monitors for competitive PC gaming, offering gamers the fastest OLED screens available.

The PG259QWS Ace and XG259QWPG Ace both use Tandem WOLED panels with a native 1080p resolution. Both screens boast 0.02ms grey-to-grey response times, ultra-deep blacks, and support for AMD FreeSync Premium Pro and Nvidia G-Sync. The difference between the two screens is their refresh rates: the PG259QWS Ace runs up to 720Hz, while the XG259QWPG Ace runs up to 540Hz.

Both monitors are now available to pre-order in the UK. The ROG Swift OLED PG259QWS Ace is £998.99, and the ROG Strix OLED XG259QWPG Ace is £628.99. Pre-orders are due to be fulfilled within the next month, with both monitors being listed as due on November 25th.

Fast ESports displays with OLED quality

In the past, ultra-fast ESports displays typically traded image quality for raw performance. With OLED displays, gamers can achieve faster response times while delivering deeper blacks, more accurate colours, and better overall image quality than esports-grade TN monitors.

The ROG Swift OLED PG259QWS Ace has become the official monitor of the PGL CS2 Major Singapore 2026. This is one of the year’s largest Counter-Strike 2 tournaments. That alone should highlight this screen’s gaming credentials.

With its new ROG OLED ACE range, ASUS is offering gamers ESports-grade monitors that don’t compromise on image quality. Yes, they are expensive, but so are all leading-edge ESports monitors.
