Ageia PPU’s available on Order
Ageia’s launch partners have announced that from today you can order their products with Ageia Physics Processing Units.
Apparantly over 60 Developers are working on over 100 titles that would support the new card.
This is excellent news for those of us with top line rigs: he PPU handles the physics calculations for the thousands of extra particles and objects in a scene, BUT the GPU has to draw the additional polygons increased texturing and shading load.
