Dell Pushes the Penguin Forward

Insider sources have revealed that the distro to be used for Dell’s upcoming Linux preloaded systems will be the widely-used Ubuntu. This is the result of a user survey that was conducted back in March.
Ubuntu will be available preloaded onto an e-series “Essential” Dimension desktop, a XPS desktop, and an e-series Inspiron laptop. These systems will likely be available in late May.
