Arctic expands its Liquid Freezer III Pro CPU cooler lineup with new 280mm and 420mm ARGB options

Arctic has officially expanded its Liquid Freezer III Pro lineup of CPU liquid cooling solutions with new 280 A-RGB and 420 A-RGB options, giving users access to large radiator sizes and RGB lighting.

We reviewed Arctic’s Liquid Freezer III Pro 360 A-RGB cooler earlier this year, and it is an excellent option for cooling AMD AM5 and Intel LGA-1851 systems. With their new 280mm and 420mm models, Arctic aims to give PC builders more options while providing the same value proposition as before.

For their 420mm variant, Arctic will be releasing both black and white models for users to purchase. In contrast, Arctic’s new Liquid Freezer III Pro 280 ARGB will only be available in black.

Below are the prices at which Arctic will sell its new Liquid Freezer III Pro series coolers through the company’s webshop. These prices are in US dollars.

  • Liquid Freezer III Pro 420 A-RGB: €105.99
  • Liquid Freezer III Pro 420 A-RGB White: €116.49
  • Liquid Freezer III Pro 280 A-RGB: €89.90

The Arctic Freezer III Pro utilises both an offset mount and a CPU Contact Frame when paired with Intel LGA-1851 CPUs, ensuring optimal cooling performance. This allows for significant drops in CPU thermals compared with Arctic’s older Liquid Freezer III (non-Pro) coolers. Smaller performance gains can be seen on AMD AM5 systems.

If you’re looking for a large cooler on a tight budget, Arctic’s Liquid Freezer III Pro lineup is worth considering. On Amazon UK, the company’s 420mm Liquid Freezer III white cooler is available for £102.79. That’s a bargain for a cooler of that size.
