EK’s custom distro plate for Lian Li’s new O11D EVO XL PC is the stuff liquid cooling dreams are made of

Pure Awesome – EK launches a custom Distro Plate for Lian li’s new O11D EVO XL PC case

Last week, Lian Li launched their new O11D EVO XL PC chassis, and in our review for the case (you can read it here), we noted that this case features extensive support for PC water cooling components, supporting up to three 420mm (3x140mm) radiators simultaneously. Now EK, has created a custom EK-Quantum Reflection² distro plate for this new enclosure, further upping the O11D EVO XL’s already impressive liquid cooling credentials.

EK’s new EK-Quantum Reflection² PC-O11D EVO XL D5 PWM D-RGB distro plate acts as a water cooling reservoir, pump housing, and hose routing solution for users, giving liquid cooling enthusiasts an attractive solutions that allows them to create tidier liquid cooling setups that have a lot of visual appear.
This plate is designed to be mounted on the Lian Li O11D EVO XL’s front window, fitting perfectly within the chassis alongside three 420mm liquid cooling radiators. This block features a RGB lighting strip that can be controlled using software solutions like MSI MYSTIC LIGHT SYNC, ASROCK POLYCHROME SYNC, ASUS AURA SYNC, and GIGABYTE RGB FUSION 2 or be controlled using a dedicated RGB controller.

With this distro plate, EK has integrated a powerful, yet quiet, PWM-controlled D5 pump. This pump is EK’s G3 (Generation 3) D5 pump variant, which features all black cables, SATA power, and an improved PWM control driver.

This product is designed for users who intend to create the ultimate liquid cooled PC, and with an asking price of €499.99, this product is only for ultra-premium PC builders. That said, with this plate being designed for liquid cooled PCs with three 420mm radiators, this asking price is only a drop in the bucket when compared to the cost of your other PC components. This is a distro plate for crazy-high-end dream PCs.

EK expects to start shipping these ditsro plates to customers next month and pre-orders are available now.

Press Release – EK Wave of Reflection² Distro Plates Comes for Lian Li O11D EVO XL Series

EK, the world-renowned provider of premium liquid cooling solutions, is launching a new distro plate for the just-released LIAN LI O11D EVO XL case. It is designed to provide advanced water cooling with the latest 3rd generation SATA-powered D5 pump, reducing the need for additional 4-pin Molex cables. The Reflection² series distribution plates are EK-Matrix7 compliant. On top of the push-in ports, allowing for easier radiator insertion and support for inverted layout, it also supports up to three 420mm radiators and a vertically-mounted GPU.

EK-Quantum Reflection² PC-O11D EVO XL D5 PWM D-RGB

The EK-Quantum Reflection² PC-O11D EVO XL D5 PWM D-RGB is a custom water cooling reservoir, routing, and pump solution that seamlessly fits into the front of the case. This waterway also has five innovative push-in ports with female G1/4″ threaded adapters. The idea is that users can assemble the top and bottom radiator with fittings and tubing and use these push-in adapters to simply slide it into the distro plate. To fit 420mm radiators, the Push-In Adapter M7 should be used, which is available as a stand-alone product in the EK Shop.

Designed to offer unique aesthetics and ease of use, this advanced all-in-one waterway solution includes a pump, reservoir, simple mounting mechanism, and multiple industry-standard G1/4″ threaded inlets and outlets. The placement of these inlets and outlets is aligned to fit with other EK products to minimize the number of bends needed when building the loop.

With the installed distro plate, the maximum radiator size is as follows:

– Top: EK-Quantum Surface P420 (or even X420 with limited configurations)
– Bottom: EK-Quantum Surface X420
– Side: EK-Quantum Surface P420

Note that the Top and Bottom radiator positions are incompatible with 360mm radiators due to O11D EVO XL’s asymmetric mounting pattern.

Engineered to be mounted on the front window of the LIAN LI O11D EVO XL case, the EK-Quantum Reflection² PC-O11D EVO XL D5 PWM D-RGB fits perfectly within this chassis. The motherboard tray must be moved from its default position to the central position for full Matrix7 compatibility. This distribution plate can also be used in the inverted layout of the chassis, in which case the radiator compatibility is reversed.

The addressable D-RGB LED Strip runs down the entire unit length, with 24 LEDs providing even lighting and avoiding hotspots. The built-in addressable LED Strip connects to the motherboard’s 5V header or a dedicated D-RGB controller. It is also compatible with MSI MYSTIC LIGHT SYNC, ASROCK POLYCHROME SYNC, ASUS AURA SYNC, and GIGABYTE RGB FUSION 2 software for coordinated light effects.

This water distribution plate comes with a powerful yet silent PWM-controlled D5 pump. The goal was to make a product with enough power to offer excellent reliability and outstanding performance with multiple blocks and radiators while keeping the noise down to a minimum. The D5 pump has been replaced with the latest G3 (Generation 3) variant. It comes with a SATA power connector, following the latest PC industry trend of a decreased use of 4-pin Molex cables.

EK-Matrix7 Support

Matrix7 standardizes the product’s dimensions, including the port position and spacing, making liquid cooling loop assembly more intuitive and easier than ever. EK-Quantum Reflection² distro plates follow the EK-Matrix7 standard, seamlessly integrating with Vector² GPU water blocks and active backplates, and Quantum Surface radiators. This means you’ll spend less time planning the loop and bending tubes, while the result will still be an epic build.

EK-QUANTUM TORQUE PUSH-IN ADAPTER M 7

This male push-in adapter fitting has a standard G1/4 male thread with an O-ring at one end, a knurled midsection, and a male push-in part with two O-rings at the other end. It is pushed directly into the distro plate without the need to be screwed in.

It is available in 4 finishes – Black, Nickel, Satin Titanium, and Gold.

This adapter simplifies the process of attaching a radiator to the Reflection² distribution plate and reduces the strain needed to screw in the fittings, adding convenience and ease of use. This adapter is also critical for mounting the 420mm radiators to this distro-plate
