Frore delivers a 50% cooling boost with its AirJet Mini G2 fanless coolers
Frore is revolutionising compact cooling technology with its AirJet Mini G2 coolers
Frore System has unveiled its AirJet Mini G2 fanless cooling solution. With it, Frore has delivered a 50% increase in heat removal while maintaining the same form factor. Furthermore, this new cooler runs silently, with 21 dBA noise levels.
Last year, Frore showcased the potential of its fanless AirJet cooling technology. Back then, Frore demonstrated a laptop utilising its cooling technology, which delivered 50% more performance than the same laptop with a traditional cooler. Not only did Frore’s solution deliver more performance, but it did so using less space. This freed up space that could be used for a larger battery.
With its G2 coolers, Frore can remove 7.5 watts of heat with ease. The cooler is 27.3mm x 41.6mm x 2.5mm in size, and is said to be the most powerful and most advanced solid-state active cooling chip available.
Below, we can see a Frore AirJet Mini G2 running on a new CREVIS Industrial Machine Vision Camera. In this demo, the cooling provided by the AirJet Mini G2 enables higher levels of image quality from the SWIR camera sensor. Frore has also stated that devices are now shipping which include Frore AirJet cooling solutions.

With the reveal of the AirJet Mini G2, Frore unveiled “Frore’s law.” The company’s vision is to double the performance of its products every two years. This rate of innovation could see the popularity of Frore’s cooling solutions explode over the next few years. After all, that rate of innovation would quickly allow Frore’s AirJet coolers to be used with increasingly powerful devices. In time, AirJet coolers could become the default solution for new noise-optimised laptops and other thin electronics.
