Geeek stuns with its $69.90 Exo 1 Open Air PC case
GEEEK opens pre-orders for its Exo 1 MATX Open Air PC case
GEEEK has just opened preorders for its new Exo 1 MATX PC case, and it is very affordable. This acrylic open-air PC case is available for $69.90 and is expected to ship on February 12th. If you want to add a vertical GPU mount, it will be an additional $20. Not bad for such a stunning PC enclosure.
Given its open-air nature, this case has fewer limitations than most standard PC enclosures. GPU size isn’t constrained by your case’s walls. That said, liquid cooler support is limited to 240mm radiators, and this case supports only Micro-ATX and Mini-ITX motherboards.
While there are no real limits on GPU size, there are recommendations. GPUs up to 335mm long are recommended. This prevents GPUs from sticking out of the case’s edges. Longer GPUs may also cover this case’s power switch. GPUs up to 80mm wide are also recommended, as thicker 4-slot GPUs may have “structural integrity concerns”. Remember, this case is made of acrylic, not steel.
Overall, the GEEEK Exo 1 is a great-looking case. At 400mm x 185mm x 315mm, this case is compact. With its carry handle, users should be able to move their systems with ease (assuming their PC isn’t overly heavy). As an open-air PC case, dust will always be a concern. That said, it’s hard to beat the almost bare hardware aesthetic that this case offers.
