HYTE confirms future US price increases due to Trump’s “reciprocal tariffs”
HYTE says its US pricing “will not be sustainable long-term” due to Trump’s Tariffs
Following the company’s announcement of tariff-related price increases last month, HYTE has confirmed that the US Trump Administration’s implementation of “reciprocal tariffs” has made the company’s new pricing unsustainable.
Trump’s new Tariffs impose a 10-50% import fee on all products, and these tariffs stack on top of existing ones. This change dramatically increases the cost of importing products into the US, and those increased costs will result in increased prices for consumers. The tariffs only impact imports into the US, which means that these tariffs will not increase the pricing of HYTE products outside of the US.
HYTE has confirmed that it will not increase its US pricing for now. However, the company has stated that its new pricing “will not be sustainable long-term.” It is probable that HYTE still needs time to assess the impact of these new tariffs.
On March 27th, we announced increased prices as a direct result of unprecedented and aggressive tariffs imposed by the Trump Administration. This was not a decision we made lightly.
Frustratingly, the Trump Administration has announced additional reciprocal tariffs. These new tariffs impose a staggering 10%-50% import fee that stacks on top of already existing tariffs.
These new tariffs go into effect starting next week.
We are currently standing by our previously increased prices, but we recognise that the will not be sustainable long-term.
We encourage anyone interested in purchasing our products to do so soon.
The new pricing goes into effect on 4/8 at 12.01 AM PDT.
Thank you for your continued support.

With the US government imposing tariffs and facing counter-tariffs, price increases in the US are to be expected. With the US’ new tariffs stacking on top of existing ones, some goods will see tremendous price increases in the near future. This will have a huge impact on the US PC market.
