I’m in love with Thermaltake’s new CT EX series fans

Thermaltake expands its fan lineup with CT EX series new colour option

Thermaltake has just launched new CT EX and CT EX Reverse series fans, doubling their available colour options. Now, Thermaltake’s daisy-chainable RGB fans are available with eight different colour options, and in both 120mm and 140mm forms. Add on their “Reserve” series fans, and Thermaltake’s CT EX series has 32 available variants.

What are “reverse” fans? The answer to that question is simple. The fan blades on these fans use a reversed orientation to deliver airflow in a different direction. This can make a PC more visually appealing by allowing users to make the best looking sides of their fans visible, despite their required airflow direction.

All of Thermaltake’s CT EX ARGB fans are daisy-chainable, and are available in 3-fan packs. Each fan has nine addressable ARGB LEDs. These cans can attach together using Thermaltake’s MagForce 2.0 connectors.

Colour Options

  • Black
  • White
  • Bumblebee (Yellow)(New)
  • Pink (New)
  • Hydrangia Blue
  • Matcha Green
  • Gravel Sand (New)
  • Racing Green (New)

With 68 CFM of airflow and 2.95mm-H2O of static pressure, these fans promise strong performance levels at 28.5 dBA noise levels. Not only do these fans look great, they are also strong performers.

Thermaltake is adding a much-needed splash of colour to the PC industry. Too many PCs are simple white or black boxes, and Thermaltake is filling our need for something different. We saw these fans at CES 2025 alongside a range of similarly coloured PC cases. If you want a vibrantly coloured PC, Thermaltake may have the cases and fans for you.
