Noctua updates its hardware roadmap with new Chromax Black products

Noctua updates its 2026 roadmap to include new Chromax Black products

Noctua has issued an update to its planned product roadmap, detailing changes to its product release plans. With this new update comes new products, one delay, and one clarification. Let’s have a look.

For starters, Noctua’s Prusament PETG Brown and Beige 3D printing filaments have been delayed. These filaments will now release in Q3, which makes sense, given that we have just entered Q3 and this filament isn’t available yet. Noctua has already released Noctua Edition 3D printing PLA filament.

One of the most noteworthy changes to Noctua’s roadmap is their official confirmation of NL-LC1 Chromax Black CPU coolers. These coolers will launch in Q4 2026, and will arrive as Black Edition variants of Noctua’s NL-LC1 CPU liquid coolers. We expect these coolers to release in 240mm, 360mm, and 420mm forms, just like their non-Chromax counterparts.

For Q2 2027, Noctua has updated their “Seasonic PRIME PX Noctua Edition” listing to “Seasonic PRIME PX HPD Noctua Edition”, clarifying which PSU model is getting the Noctua Edition treatment. Note that 2027 will be a busy year for Noctua. Next year, Noctua will release new Home products, new Noctua Edition products, and next-generation cooling products.
