The first Noctua CPU cooler, the NL-LC1, is now available

Noctua’s new NL-LC1 series of CPU liquid coolers is now available

Noctua has officially released its new NL-LC1 series of CPU liquid cooling solutions, targeting silent performance with its custom design and unique noise-absorbing tech.

The NL-LC1 is available with 240mm, 360mm, and 420mm radiator sizes, and launches with Noctua’s NF-A series G2 fans. Additionally, these coolers launch with Noctua’s SecuFirm 2 socket mounting tool, which supports offset options for both Intel LGA-1851 and AMD AM5 CPUs. These offsets boost the performance of this cooling solution. Furthermore, Noctua ships this cooler with its NT-H2 thermal compound.

In the UK, Noctua’s NH-LC1 series coolers are available now from Amazon;

If users want additional VRM cooling, NL-LC1 users can add a Noctua NL-ACF1 auxiliary fan to their setup. This fan circulates air around your memory and motherboard VRMs to improve their cooling. While all DRAM and motherboard VRMs are designed to provide strong enough cooling without these fans, this extra airflow will help users maintain lower thermals, which may increase component longevity.

Are new versions planned?

Notice that Noctua’s NL-LC1 series coolers are called the LC1 series. This suggests that Noctua has plans to release next-generation second (LC2) and third (LC3) generation versions. Note that, as pump and fan technology improves, Noctua can create new CPU liquid-cooling solutions, and its naming scheme is already ready to support them.
