The ultimate CPU chiller - Cooler Master reveals MasterLiquid ML360 Sub-Zero EVO

Cooler Master unveils their 2nd Gen Thermoelectric CPU cooler for Intel processors

Cooler Master and Intel have collaborated once again to create a second generation Thermoelectric Cooling (TEC) solution for Intel’s high-end LG-1700 processors, enabling sub-zero cooling for extreme overclockers.

With a new pump design, a redesigned TEC unit, a more efficient radiator and Cooler Master’s new Mobius fans, Cooler Master plans to revolutionise high-end cooling for Intel CPUs in early 2023. Sadly, pricing for this high-end cooling product remains unknown, but out guess is that this will be on the very expensive side of the cooling spectrum.

The integration of a Thermoelectric cooler allows Cooler Master to chill Intel processors to sub-ambient temperatures, using Intel’s Cryo Cooling Technology to mitigate the potential problems of sub-ambient cooling like condensation. With the MasterLiquid ML360 Sub-Zero EVO, Cooler Master and Intel hope to enable incredible Alder Lake and Raptor Lake CPU overclocks and insane levels of system performance.

With thermals being the primary bottleneck for many high-end Intel overclocks, Cooler Master’s MasterLiquid ML360 Sub-Zero EVO has the potential to make 6+ GHz Raptor Lake overclocks a reality. This will be especially true once Intel releases their i9-13900KS processor, a CPU that can boost to 6 GHz out of the box.

Cooler Master has engineered the 2nd generation of the innovative Thermoelectric Cooling (TEC) solution with the launch of the new MasterLiquid ML360 SUB-ZERO EVO. In collaboration with Intel® Cooler Master has developed an AIO to attain sub-ambient cooling in combination with Intel® Cryo Cooling Technology, creating the ultimate All-In-One liquid cooler that delivers the best cooling performance for Intel’s performance CPUs.

The new ML360 Sub-Zero EVO features upgraded hardware, including a water block with integrated TEC technology combined with a redesigned pump, capable of achieving CPU temperatures previously unseen in any AIO liquid coolers. The 360mm radiator works in unison with the enhanced pump to manage the full heat load of both the CPU and the TEC unit, delivering a new overclocking experience and improved gaming performance with ease.

The ML360 Sub-Zero EVO featuring Intel® Cryo Cooling Technology mitigates the problem of condensation inherent to sub-ambient cooling using advanced algorithms, software, and hardware monitoring to make this suitable for gaming & PC enthusiasts. Compact design, minimal isolation, environmental monitoring, and intelligent control allow users to take performance right up to the edge with minimal condensation risk, even for extended durations.

With this heatsink being designed with Intel processors and software in mind, Cooler Master’s MasterLiquid ML360 Sub-Zero EVO sub-ambient cooler is not compatible with AMD processors, whether they are AM4 based or AM5 based. AMD has not invested in this kind of CPU cooling technology, which makes sense given how niche sub-ambient cooling is, and the potential risks involved.

When speaking to Cooler Master about their new MasterLiquid ML360 Sub-Zero EVO cooler, the company stated that these CPUs were compatible with their second generation TEC cooling solution.
