Thermal Grizzly launches new delidding and cooling products for LGA 1851 Arrow Lake CPUs

Thermal Grizzly releases a new range of cooling and delidding products for Intel’s LGA 1851 socket and Core Ultra 200 CPUs

Thermal Grizzly has launched a range of new cooling and delidding products for Intel’s new Core Ultra 200 (Arrow Lake) range of CPUs. This includes a new Thermal Grizzly CPU Contact Frame for LGA 1851, a new delid die ate for LGA 1851 CPUs and a new Mycro Direct-Die PRO RGB liquid cooling solution for Intel’s Core Ultra 200 series.

In essence, Thermal Grizzly has revamped its entire cooling lineup for Intel’s Core Ultra 200 series. This will allow users of Intel’s latest CPUs to benefit from optimised cooling solutions on day-1. However, it is worth noting that CPU delidding has become more challenging with the release of Intel’s Core Ultra 200 series CPUs.

Delidding Intel’s Core Ultra 200 series CPUs is a riskier process than delidding older Intel CPUs. As such, Thermal Grizzly is creating a solution that mitigates that added risk. This new solution will be available within the next month. However, Thermal Grizzly’s standard Direct Die Mate V1 delidding tool is now available for those wishing to delid their CPUs.

Thermal Grizzly is building a CPU heating solution that can heat Intel’s Core Ultra CPUs to 165 degrees Celsius. This liquefies the CPU’s indium solder and minimises stress on the CPU during the delidding process. This makes the delidding process much less risky.

Most of Thermal Grizzly’s new LGA 1851 products are now available to purchase through the company’s website.
