AMD’s Ryzen 7 7800X3D drops to a new pricing low and includes a free copy of Starfield
AMD’s best gaming processor is now available for under £370
AMD’s fastest gaming processor, the Ryzen 7 7800X3D, has just received a substantial price cut, with several UK retailers now selling the processor for under £370. Better yet, this CPU ships with a free copy of Starfield, Bethesda’s newest RPG, which launches next month.
With eight Zen 4 CPU cores, 5GHz boost clock speeds, DDR5 memory support, and 96MB of L3 cache, AMD’s Ryzen 7 7800X3D is one of the fastest gaming CPUs available, and for £368.48 UK buyers can currently buy this CPU from Scan with two free items, a free copy of Starfield, as mentioned before, and a free pair of GUNNAR CRUZ UV/Blue Light filter glasses (worth £35). Several other UK retailers are offering similar prices, but at the time of writing, Scan offers the most free goodies.
At its current pricing, AMD’s Ryzen 7 7800X3D is available with pricing that isn’t substantially higher than AMD’s Ryzen 7 7700X at many retailers, a CPU that lacks AMD’s game-boosting 3D V-Cache technology. This CPU has 32MB of L3 cache, and the Ryzen 7 7800X3D’s additional 64MB of L3 cache has the potential to significantly accelerate most PC games.
At launch, AMD’s Ryzen 7 7800X3D was available for around £450, making today’s pricing almost 20% lower than AMD’s launch pricing. Add on the additional value of AMD’s Starfield game promotion, and PC gamers are getting a great deal with AMD’s Ryzen 7 7800X3D processor.
With CPU, motherboard, and DDR5 memory prices falling, AMD’s AM5 motherboard platform is now a lot cheaper than it was when it launched last year. This is great news for PC builders, as it is allowing them to get a lot more value from their money.Â
