Back at CES 2025, ASUS revealed its first AMD Ryzen-compatible BTF (Back-To-Front/Back-Connect) motherboard. Now, ASUS has unveiled a white version of this motherboard, the TUF GAMING B850-BTF WIFI W. This motherboard appears to be perfect for Ryzen-powered gaming PCs, with its 600W GPU power connector and Ryzen 9000 X3D CPU support. This new motherboard was first spotted by Videocardz.

We’ve already looked at the non-BTF version of this new motherboard, the TUF Gaming B850 WIFI. However, we will note that this new BTF design has more of its surface area covered in a shroud. Regardless, both motherboards feature the same specifications, featuring four DIMM slots, a PCIe 5.0 M.2 slot, and a full PCIe 5 x16 slot.

With its BTF “Hidden Connector” design, this motherboard can be used to create incredibly clean-looking gaming PCs. This is excellent news for those who want to minimise cable clutter. This motherboard even has a GC_HPWR connector to power GPUs with hidden power connectors.

Overall, this new white B850 motherboard looks like an excellent option for anyone who wants to build an ASUS BTF gaming system with AMD’s Ryzen 9800X3D CPU. I can see this motherboard being very popular with system builders like PC Specialist. After all, Back-Connect motherboards enable the creation of tidier systems. It also makes cable management a lot easier for their PC builders.
