ASUS ROG Crosshair X870E Extreme motherboard listed for over €1000 at multiple retailers

ASUS ROG Crosshair X870E Extreme motherboard may cost over €1000

ASUS is getting ready to release its flagship X870E motherboard, the ROG Crosshair X870E Extreme. This will be ASUS’ top-tier AMD AM5 motherboard, offering more features than its other ROG-series products.

ASUS has previously confirmed that this motherboard will be released this quarter. That means that ASUS will likely be releasing this motherboard very soon. It won’t be long before we see what goodies ASUS has in store for ROG fanatics.

Videocardz has spotted several retail listings for this new flagship motherboard. All of these motherboard listings have price tags of over €1000. This suggests that these motherboards will be incredibly expensive, even by ASUS ROG standards.

Today, ASUS’ ROG Crosshair X870E Hero motherboard is available for £569.99 in the UK. Based on these early retail listings, the company’s X870E Extreme will cost around double that. Currently, it is unknown what features ASUS has given their newest Extreme motherboard to justify this pricing.

A new update to HWiNFO (Hardware Info) has added “enhanced sensor monitoring” support for ASUS’s ROG Crosshair X870E Extreme motherboard, suggesting that it will be released imminently. We expect to hear more about this motherboard over the coming week/weeks.
