EVGA reveals its 2nd AMD Ryzen motherboard, the X570 FTW WIFI
Yes, EVGA’s $499.99 pricing for this motherboard is far from mainstream, but with this board, EVGA has created something that is much better suited to most high-end Ryzen users. For starters, this board has four DIMM slots, compared to the X570 DARK’s two, two PCIe 4.0 enabled M.2 slots and eight SATA ports.Â
Cooling-wise, this motherboard features a finstack VRM heatsink and a fanless chipset heatsink design, differentiating EVGA’s design from most older X570 offerings.Â
For WIFI, EVGA’s X570 FTW WIFI uses Intel’s AC200 Wi-Fi 6 controller and Bluetooth 5.2 module for connectivity, and standard Gigabit ethernet. Sadly, EVGA has not splashed out on 2.5GbE or higher-end ethernet standards.Â

On the board’s rear I/O, EVGA has given its X570 FTW WIFI two UGB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports (5Gbps), two USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A ports (10Gbps), and a single USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C port (10Gbps). EVGA has also confirmed that their X570 FTW motherboard also supports Resizable BAR.Â
