Intel confirms that there are “no changes” to launch plans following Intel Innovation postponement
Intel has confirmed that their planned Intel Innovation will be postponed to 2025. This event was due to be hosted on September 24th/25th, but it has now been postponed as part of cost saving measures due to Intel’s Q2 2024 losses. Now, Intel has confirmed to us that the the delay of Intel’s next Innovation event will not have an impact of the company’s 2024 Arrow Lake desktop CPU launch plans.
Following the delay of Intel’s 2024 Innovation event, many hardware enthusiasts and analysts speculated about a potential delay for Arrow Lake. This was due to long-running rumours that Intel Innovation 2024 would play host to Intel’s next-generation desktop CPU launch. As such, the delay of this event led to rumours of an Arrow Lake CPU delay. These rumours are not true.
Below is a statement that has been provided to us by Intel. Arrow Lake remains on track for a Q4 launch.
There are no changes to Intelâs launch plans, timing, or product readiness. We are excited about the new product announcements and momentum we have in store, including significant announcements this fall. Weâll share more details on our next-gen desktop processor products, codenamed Arrow Lake, later this year.

Intel plans to make “significant announcements” this fall, suggesting that Intel won’t just be releasing Arrow Lake in 2024. Currently, it is unknown what else Intel may be revealing/releasing over the coming months. That said, there are rumours that Intel could launch next-generation “Battlemage” desktop GPUs this year.
