Sapphire teases AMD AM5 Nitro+ motherboard releases
Is Sapphire preparing to enter the PC motherboard market?
Sapphire Technology has released a new teaser for “something exciting.” What are they teasing? It looks like Sapphire is getting ready to release a Nitro+ series AM5 motherboard. We got an early look at some of these motherboards at Computex 2025.
Sapphire has been in the motherboard market for some time now, but their motherboards have been exclusive to Asian markets so far. Perhaps Sapphire is now ready to launch its Nitro+ motherboards globally, giving PC gamers some fresh new options.
At Computex, Sapphire showcased several AMD B850 motherboards, one of which utilised ASUS’ BTF (GC-HPWR) GPU power connector. Clearly, Sapphire doesn’t plan to build just standard motherboards; they aim to create high-end products.
