X3D Reimagined – AMD teases Ryzen 9000X3D launch
AMD’s next-gen X3D CPUs are launching on November 7th, ready to strike down Intel’s Arrow Lake
Just days before the release of Intel’s Core Ultra 200 “Arrow Lake” CPUs, AMD has started teasing “X3D Reimagined”. That’s right, AMD is releasing new Ryzen X3D gaming CPUs. Specifically, AMD’s first Ryzen 9000X3D CPUs will launch on November 7th.
AMD hasn’t revealed any specific details about these new CPUs, though they have used the tagline “X3D Reimagined”. This suggests that AMD has made some major changes to their X3D technology. However, it remains unclear exactly what has changed.
AMD’s Jack Huynh, who recently discussed AMD’s gaming strategies with FSR 4 and their planned Radeon UDNA architecture, stated that “Legends are written by those who dare to be bold”. Whether AMD’s next-gen X3D gaming CPUs will be ‘legendary’ remains to be seen. That said, it is clear that AMD is excited about this product launch.

Current rumours suggest that AMD will be releasing their 8-core Ryzen 7 9800X3D CPU in November. More AMD Ryzen 9000X3D CPUs will reportedly launch later. Recent rumours also suggest that AMD’s latest X3D CPUs will boast higher clock speeds than their predecessors. Is that enough to justify AMD’s “X3D Reimagined” tagline? Has anything else changed with AMD’s new X3D CPUs? Hopefully, AMD will reveal more details about these CPUs soon.
