Acer’s G-Sync HDR Predator X27 4K 144Hz display listed on Newegg for $1999
The specifications of this display area already well known within hardware circles, using an AU Optronics 27-inch HDR 10 compliant display and a G-Sync module to offer a 4K display resolution, a refresh rate of up to 144Hz, G-Sync variable refresh rate support and full HDR10 functionality. Â
Newegg lists this monitor with a brightness of 600 nits and a peak brightness of 1,000 nits, offering users a 4ms Grey-to-Grey response time with support for 10-bit colour, 99% Adobe RGB support and a “Predator Shield” that can connect to the edges of the display.Â
The X27 can support Full 4K resolutions at up to 120Hz, or 144Hz using the display’s OC mode, using DisplayPort 1.4, though the monitor also ships with HDMI 2.0 support for use with “4K” HDR consoles like the Xbox One X and PS4 Pro. The Acer Predator X27 also supports a 4-way USB 3.0 hub. From the looks of it, Acer’s Predator X27 will not ship with Tobii Eye tracking capabilities, which are available on some of Acer’s other Predator gaming displays. Â

It is likely that ASUS’ upcoming ROG Swift PG27UQ will ship with a similar price tag, giving the nigh identical specifications of both displays. At this time we do not have an exact UK or EU price for the Acer Predator X27.Â
