AMD is ready for Forza Horizon 6 and 007 First Light with its latest drivers

Radeon’s ready for this month’s biggest PC releases with its AMD Software 26.5.2 drivers

Following AMD’s confirmation that FSR 4.1 is coming to RDNA 3 and RDNA 2 graphics cards, Radeon has released AMD Software 26.5.2, the company’s newest graphics drivers. These drivers are ready for the next wave of big PC game releases, including 007 First Light and Forza Horizon 6.

This new driver also includes several bug fixes, which are detailed in the release notes below. Note that AMD recommends that RX 7000 series (and newer) GPU owners use AMD’s older 26.3.1 driver if they are using Blender. We’ve detailed why AMD’s newest drivers do not currently work with Blender here. Note that AMD has also recommended its 26.3.1 driver to players of Subnautica 2 and Marvel Rivals.

Known Issues

• Intermittent application crash or driver timeout may be observed while playing Battlefield 6 on AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 370. AMD is actively working on a resolution with the developer to be released as soon as possible.
• Texture flickering or corruption may appear while playing Battlefield 6 with AMD Record and Stream on some AMD graphics products.
• AMD FSR Upscaling and AMD FSR Frame Generation may show as inactive in AMD Software: Adrenalin Edition while playing Battlefield 6 when enabled on Radeon RX 9000 series graphics products.
• Intermittent application crash may be observed while running Blender on Radeon RX 7000 series graphics products and above. Users experiencing this issue are recommended to install AMD Software: Adrenalin Edition 26.3.1.
• Intermittent application crash may be observed while playing Subnautica 2 and Marvel Rivals on Radeon RX 9000 series graphics products. Users experiencing this issue are recommended to install AMD Software: Adrenalin Edition 26.3.1.
