ASRock unveils its AMD RX 9060 XT series GPUs at Computex
ASRock unveiled its Radeon RX 9060 XT series graphics cards, and all of them are overclocked
We visited the ASRock booth this morning. Hot on the heels of AMD’s Radeon RX 9060 XT reveal, ASRock staff unloaded and displayed the company’s first mid-range RDNA 4 graphics cards. Both of these GPUs featured healthy factory overclocks and boasted custom cooler designs.
On the higher end of ASRock’s Radeon RX 9060 XT lineup is their RX 9060 XT Steel Legend OC. This GPU will have 8GB and 16GB variants and launch with RGB lighting and three display outputs, including two DisplayPort 2.1 outputs and one HDMI 2.1b connector.
Out of the box, this RX 9060 XT features a boost clock that is almost 200 MHz higher than AMD’s reference model. Even better, its “Game Clock” is 250MHz higher. In percentage terms, ASRock’s Steel Legend model has a game clock almost 10% higher than AMD’s reference specifications.

Meet the ASRock Radeon RX 9060 XT Challenger OC
Next, we have the Radeon RX 9060 XT Challenger OC, which also features a significant factory overclock. Its “Game Clock” is 6.7% higher than AMD’s reference specifications. That’s a 170MHz increase.
The Challenger OC features less RGB lighting and only two cooling fans. However, it features the same number of display outputs and the same 16x PCIe 5.0 interface. Like the Steel Legend, the RX 9060 XT Challenger will be available as a 8GB or a 16GB GPU.

Significant overclocks
As mentioned before, the RX 9060 XT’s Steel Legend and Challenger models have significant clock speed boosts compared to AMD’s reference specifications. That’s great news for gamers, as this means that they will have more performance to play with. Both models are powered using 8-pin PCIe power connectors, making these GPUs compatible with all modern PC power supplies.

More ASRock Radeon RX 9000 series GPUs
At their Computex booth, ASRock also displayed several Radeon RX 9070 XT series graphics cards, including an unreleased “Taichi White” concept GPU. I like the look of this model and would love to see it released.
Complementing its range of RDNA 4 graphics cards, ASRock has a range of FreeSync Premium Pro-compatible OLED gaming monitors on display at its booth. You can hear more about these monitors here.
