ASUS showcases Nvidia’s new G-Sync Pulsar tech with their ROG Swift 360Hz PG27AQNR monitor
At Gamescom 2024, we got a look at ASUS’ new ROG Swift 360Hz PG27AQNR gaming monitor. This new gaming screen is a 27-inch “ultra-fast IPS” display that boasts a QHD (1440p) resolution and a refresh rate of 360Hz.
This screen is one of the first monitors to support Nvidia’s new G-Sync Pulsar technology. This new feature enables higher levels of motion clarity alongside VRR (Variable Refresh Rate) support to deliver gamers a smoother gaming experience. With this tech, games will look sharper in motion, which is great news for all fast-paced titles.
Connectivity-wise, this new ROG screen features both DisplayPort 1.4 (with DSC), and HDMI 2.1 inputs. Additionally, this screen features USB inputs to enable firmware updates.
ASUS has confirmed that this new G-Sync Pulsar enabled monitor will be available in Q4 2024. Pricing for this monitor is currently unknown.
