ASUS mix-up create Radeon GeForce hybrid GPU – Meet the Radeon GeForce RTX RX 9070 XT
ASUS’ factory made a mistake, and we’re loving it – This Radeon GeForce GPU hybrid is a mess
A factory error has resulted in the creation of a unique ASUS TUF Gaming graphics card, a Radeon RX 9070 XT that features both AMD Radeon and Nvidia GeForce RTX branding. So far, this GPU appears to be a one-off factory error. This could mean that this is the only GeForce RTX RX 9070 XT GPU in existence. However, other GPUs in this batch may have the same mistake.
How did this happen? The simple answer is that ASUS uses the same shroud design for multiple GPU models. A shroud with GeForce branding was accidentally used on an AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT. Theoretically, the same mistake could happen in reverse, creating a Radeon branded RTX 50 series GPU.
Someone needs to check on the ASUS assembly line workers and make sure they are feeling ok…
If any of you saw my recent posts, i was having issue wity my new ASUS TUF 9070 XT OC
I went back to microcenter to exchange, got home to unbox it and got this. You can’t make this up.
Now the dilemma, do i keep the card and have an absolute meme of a card or exchange it again.

If the owner of this GPU wanted to, they could probably return this GPU and get a replacement. That said, it would be a shame to see this one-of-a-kind GPU get returned and “fixed”. After all, who else can claim to have a GeForce RTX RX 9070 XT?
