Firmware upgrades adds Dolby Vision and more to ASUS’ ROG Swift OLED PG32UCDM
A new firmware update has added Dolby Vision support to ASUS’ ROG Swift OLED PG32UCDM gaming monitor
We reviewed ASUS’ ROG Swift OLED PG32UCDM gaming monitor earlier this year and we loved it. Now, ASUS has released a new firmware update for this monitor that gives it an enhanced feature set. Now, this high-end OLED gaming monitor supports Dolby Vision. In fact, this screen now has three Dolby Vision modes with “Dolby Vision Bright, Dolby Vision Dark, and Dolby Vision Gaming” options.
Users of this monitor can now switch their screen between Dolby Vision and HDR10 modes. This gives users the option to better tailor this screen to the content it is displaying. Additionally, ASUS has added “Dynamic Brightness Boost” to their console HDR mode. This gives this mode a brighter picture, which is great news for those who thought this mode was a little dim.
