Inno3D releases official benchmarks for its RTX 5050 GPU

Nvidia’s RTX 5050 delivers near RTX 4060 performance for $249

Inno3D has released official benchmarks for its GeForce RTX 5050 graphics card, comparing it to Nvidia’s popular RTX 3060 and RTX 4060 GPUs.

Nvidia’s RTX 5050 will be available later this month for $249. The GPU features 8GB of GDDR6 memory and 2560 CUDA cores, targeting esports players and budget-oriented gaming PCs.

When examining its hardware specifications, the RTX 5050 has fewer CUDA cores than Nvidia’s RTX 4060, but it features faster GDDR6 memory and a higher TDP. This makes Nvidia’s RTX 5050 an interesting piece of hardware, as it has hardware advantages and disadvantages compared to the RTX 4060.

Below, we can see how Nvidia’s new GPU performs in various synthetic benchmarks. Note how Nvidia’s RTX 5050 can trade blows with an RTX 4060. Both deliver similar performance levels in these tests, though the RTX 4060 appears to have a performance advantage in real games.

Below, we have some benchmarks for Borderlands 3, Far Cry 6, Horizon Zero Dawn, and Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. Note that Nvidia’s RTX 5050 can deliver near RTX 4060 performance levels, but can be up to 10% behind Nvidia’s last-generation GPU.

Sadly, Nvidia has not unveiled the UK pricing of its RTX 5050 graphics card. Given its US MSRP of $249, we expect the UK MSRP of this GPU to be around £219 (including VAT). Nvidia has not confirmed an exact release date for this GPU, stating that it will be available in “late July.”
