I’ve fallen in love with Galax’s RTX 5090 D HOF XOC
I wish this GPU was available in the UK
Galax has officially revealed its RTX 5090 D HOF (Hall of Fame) XOC (Limited) Edition graphics card, and it is easily one of the best-looking RTX 5090 GPUs on the market. If I were in the market for an RTX 5090, this GPU would be on my shortlist. Sadly, two factors are stopping me from getting this graphics card. Number 1 is that I can’t afford it (not even close…), and number 2 is that this GPU will not be available in the UK.
Since this is an RTX 5090 D graphics card, it looks like this GPU model will be exclusive to China. Furthermore, this GPU is a “Limited” edition model. That means that this GPU will not be available for long.
Why do I love this GPU? Does that really need an answer? Ok then, I like its white heatsink design. Furthermore, I respect the sheer lunacy that is this graphics card’s PCB design. This is a proper overclocker’s GPU, and that is awesome. Finally, there’s the fact that this GPU has two 16-pin (12v-2×6) power connectors. With its power load split between two cables, I can rest assured that this GPU won’t run into cable-related issues while gaming.
Honestly, I think it’s great that we are seeing high-end overclocking graphics cards with two 16-pin power connectors. It’s always great to see hardware manufacturers push the limits of the world’s fastest GPUs. There was a time when most GPU brands would have dedicated overclocking SKUs, like the MSI Lightning, EVGA KINGPIN, and others. Now, those kinds of GPU models are becoming increasingly rare.
