More RTX Value for Gamers – Nvidia unleashes their RTX 40 SUPER series

Nvidia’s RTX 40 SUPER series has arrived, and it’s giving gamers a huge value boost

It’s official, Nvidia’s RTX 40 SUPER series of graphics cards is here, and it has delivered boosted value for money to the high-end PC market. These upgraded graphics cards deliver higher-end specifications than their existing counterparts, giving purchasers boosted performance per dollar.

Starting off at the top we have the RTX 4080 SUPER, which will launch with a price tag that is £200 lower than Nvidia’s standard RTX 4080 while launching with more CUDA cores and faster GDDR6X memory. This GPU offers gamers more lower pricing and more performance, making it a win win for gamers.

The RTX 4070 Ti SUPER ships for the same price as Nvidia’s RTX 4070 Ti, but comes with more CUDA cores and 4GB of additional GDDR6X memory. This gives the RTX 4070 Ti SUPER a 33% increase in VRAM capacity and memory bandwidth. Both of these changes are useful for productivity workloads and generative AI performance.

With the RTX 4070 Ti SUPER, Nvidia are offering gamers a huge performance boost and more memory at the $799 price point.

The RTX 40 SUPER series highlight, the RTX 4070 SUPER

Lastly, we have the RTX 4070 SUPER, a new GPU model that offers gamers 20% more CUDA cores than its non-SUPER counterpart. This new graphics card features the same memory configuration as its predecessor. This is also the same memory config as the RTX 4070 Ti, so it makes sense why Nvidia has not changed it.

Nvidia claims that their new RTX 4070 SUPER is faster than an RTX 3090. This is an incredible feat for a $599 graphics card. Remember, the RTX 3090 launched at $1499.

Detailed Specifications

With their RTX 4070 SUPER, Nvidia are now offering near RTX 4070 Ti performance for $599. Similarly, the RTX 4070 Ti SUPER now offers ear RTX 4080 performance at $799. This is a big deal for gamers, as this is equivalent to a major price cut from Nvidia.

For Nvidia’s RTX 4070 SUPER, Nvidia are giving gamers a 20% shader boost with no increase in price over the RTX 4070. In fact, the RTX 4070 is getting its price cut, albeit just a little.

Nvidia’s RTX 40 SUPER series will deliver more value to the PC gaming market. All three graphics cards are launching this month, and we hope that Nvidia has built enough GPUs to keep up with demand. Nvidia’s RTX 4070 Super is launching on January 17th, Nvidia’s RTX 4070 Ti is launching on January 24th, and Nvidia’s RTX 4080 SUPER is launching on January 31st.
