MSI reveals 32:9 3840×1080 Optix MAG491C FreeSync monitor
In the case of 32:9, the practical applications of the display size are obvious, offering the same screen real estate as two 1920×1080 (1080p) monitors sitting side-by-side to provide a lot of potential productivity and gaming-oriented use cases.Â
At Computex, MSI is advertising this display’s gaming prowess, showcasing how useful the extra width can be in racing titles and other simulation games. The MAG491C’s 1800R curvature also helps to give this display a nice wrap-around feel, much like an angle multi-monitor configuration.Â

MSI has not given us a specific release date for their super-wide monitor, or an intended price tag.
